Whisa is an interactive storytelling application where users can explore stories, participate in story conversations, and create new story experiences through AI chat and optional image uploads. This document explains how information is handled when using the Whisa application and what choices users have regarding their content.
Whisa is operated by Whisa Team.
Whisa is designed as a creative storytelling and chat experience. Most content inside the app is created directly by users during conversations or story interactions. The app processes this content only to generate story responses and maintain the conversation experience.
Whisa does not operate as a social network and does not publicly publish user content.
Depending on how you use Whisa, the following information may be present inside the app environment:
· Chat messages and story interaction text
· Images uploaded by users to start or continue a story
· Story preferences or selections
· App usage actions such as creating or continuing stories
This information exists only so the app can provide the storytelling and chat experience.
Whisa is built to avoid collecting unnecessary personal information. The application does not collect or store:
· Government identification numbers
· Financial or payment information outside of app store purchases
· Contacts or address book data
· Location tracking information
· Biometric identifiers
· Face recognition data or facial identity profiles
If a photo is uploaded, it is used only to generate story content and not for identity recognition. Photos uploaded by users may contain facial regions, but Whisa does not analyze, recognize, or extract facial identity information from images.
Information inside the app is used only for the following purposes:
· Generate AI story responses
· Continue story conversations
· Organize story sessions
· Allow users to view previous story interactions
· Maintain basic app functionality
Information is not used for advertising, marketing profiling, behavioral tracking, or external analytics.
Whisa uses internally controlled AI systems to generate story conversations and story content.
This means:
· No third-party AI services process user messages or images
· No user content is sent to external AI providers
· No user content is shared, sold, or transferred to any third party
· AI processing occurs only within systems controlled by Whisa Team
· Temporary processing data is automatically removed after the response is generated
User content is used only to generate the requested story interaction.
Whisa allows users to upload images as part of story creation and interactive storytelling. Uploaded images may contain human faces or facial regions.
Whisa does not use facial recognition technology and does not attempt to identify any individual from uploaded images. The application does not collect, extract, or store biometric identifiers, facial recognition data, or facial identity profiles.
Images that may contain facial regions are used only for the purpose of generating story content and continuing interactive storytelling sessions. Facial regions are not analyzed for identity, tracking, profiling, or biometric analysis.
All image processing is performed by Whisa’s internal AI systems only.
No images and no face-related data are sent to any third-party AI service or external provider.
Face Data Retention and Deletion
· Images uploaded by users are stored only as part of the user’s story content and conversation history.
· Temporary processing data generated during AI image or story processing is automatically deleted after the response is generated.
· Users may delete images and story content at any time within the app.
· When users delete content, the associated images are removed from active storage and are not used further.
Any user data is not used for advertising, marketing, analytics, profiling, or AI model training.
By uploading images in Whisa, users acknowledge and agree that images containing faces may be processed solely for generating story content and maintaining story interactions, as described in this Privacy Notice.
Story conversations and generated story content may be stored inside the app so users can continue stories and review previous sessions.
Users may delete their story content at any time.
Deleted content is removed from active storage and is not used further.
Temporary processing data generated during AI responses is not stored permanently.
Images uploaded by users may contain facial regions. These images are stored only as part of the user's story content and are not used for facial recognition, identity analysis, advertising, analytics, or model training. Users may delete images at any time, and deleted images are permanently removed from active storage. Temporary image processing data is automatically deleted after story generation.
By using Whisa, uploading images, or sending messages in story chats, you agree that:
· Your text and images may be processed by Whisa’s internal AI system
· Processing occurs only to generate story content and responses
· Content is not shared with third parties
· Content is not used for advertising or external analysis
· Temporary processing data may be created and automatically deleted after processing
If you do not agree with this processing, you should not upload images or use AI story chat features.
Whisa is intended for users 17 years of age or older.
The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If it is discovered that content was submitted by a user under the required age, the related data may be removed.
Whisa uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect content stored within the application environment. While no system can guarantee absolute security, the app is designed to limit data exposure and minimize stored personal information.
This Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time to reflect feature changes or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available within the application or app store listing.
